    Claire Dunne has had a diverse career in radio, television, film, educational media and institutions, with subjects ranging from Jung to Freud, Irish/Celtic culture to Aboriginal Australia, current affairs to classical/traditional music.

    Whilst living in Australia she pioneered, as Foundation Director, two government funded multicultural radio stations (now SBS Radio/TV in 65 languages) which place the country in the forefront of multicultural broadcasting worldwide.

    She was Committee member of a Federal Government Inquiry into Multicultural Broadcasting and Council member of the Australian Institute of Multicultural Affairs.She also presented and/or produced radio and television programmes on SBS.

    In 1999 the Australian Government awarded her an Order of Australia Honour, OAM, for her contribution to multiculturalism, Celtic culture and ethnic broadcasting.
