Chris Dunne, Head of IT and Operations Business Management, Voca
Chris joined Voca in 2004 as Commercial Business Manager to manage the interface between IT and the business during the significant technology renewal programme currently underway.He plays a key part in providing commercial, business process and strategic skills to the company, following Voca,s transformation into an independent commercial entity in December 2003.
Chris acts as the bridge between the business and technology sides of Voca, ensuring that business opportunities are served by the best solution whilst making the optimal use of available resources.Chris also plays a key role in communicating and promoting Voca,s core technology renewal programme to a wide range of internal and external audiences.
Chris previously spent eight years at Reuters starting as the marketing manager for the FX and Money division before promotion to commercial manager.In 2002 he was again promoted to head of strategy, treasury services, a business with annual revenues in excess of $1billion.It was one of his most challenging and interesting roles, where he was able to combine business skills with domain knowledge and apply this to major IT projects.Chris also spent five years as chief analyst at Forexia Limited where he provided market commentary, analysis and trading strategies to banks, corporates and high net worth individuals.Prior to that he worked at TraderMade International and KPMG.
Through Chris,s extensive experience in financial markets, large-scale software development, business planning and media, he brings technical understanding with a broad industry overview to Voca.
