DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dividend Capital Investments, the real estate securities investment advisor of Dividend Capital Group and an affiliate of real estate private equity firm Black Creek Group, announced today the appointment of Chris Dunne as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Institutional Sales.

Mr. Dunne has 14 years experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in distribution, client relationship management and product strategy.Prior to joining Dividend Capital, Mr. Dunne served as Vice President and Director of Intermediary Sales at Janus Capital Group.As a key figure in the growth and success of Janus' financial institutions group, he was responsible for sub-advisory and platform sales and service for some of Janus' largest and most prominent institutional accounts.His clients included some of the world's largest insurance companies, asset managers, banks and broker/dealers.

At Dividend Capital Investments, Mr. Dunne will be responsible for growing the firm's presence in the institutional capital channel, targeting pension consultants, plan sponsors, family offices and other financial institutions with its innovative real estate securities products.

Chris Dunne is senior vice president and managing director of institutional sales for Dividend Capital Investments.With fourteen years in the financial services industry, Mr. Dunne brings a wealth of experience in distribution, client relationship management and product strategy to his position.Prior to joining Dividend Capital, Mr. Dunne served as vice president and director of intermediary sales at Janus Capital Group.As a key figure in the growth and success of Janus' institutional group, he was responsible for developing and expanding the largest and most prominent institutional accounts across a range of distribution channels and product platforms.Among his clients were some of the world's largest insurance companies, bank trusts and broker/dealer groups.Mr. Dunne graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and speech communications.He is active in community service, including Metro Denver Big Brothers/Big Sisters where he has been a mentor for more than a decade.
