   John is a Director of YSC who has had 24 years of developing senior executives. He has extensive experience of executive coaching and has worked as Director of Organization and Management Development for both Barclays Bank and Guinness Plc. He has also held the role of Vice-President of Human Resources for EMI Music. During his consultancy experience, both at YSC and at RHR Inc, he has developed coaching relationships with a variety of senior teams across a range of international blue-chip businesses.
   
   John has a particular interest and skill working with CEO's and HR Directors, helping them manage and develop their organizations through the effective use of their own abilities and building the right capability around them. He also has extensive experience of conflict resolution, coaching pairs and teams.
   
   Married with two adult sons, John has an interest in working woodlands, country music and the theatre; he divides his time between Kent and London.

   A graduate in psychology John is a chartered occupational psychologist whose career has spanned the public and private sector, senior executive roles in business and consulting. He is now consulting with YSC, London's premier firm of consulting psychologists. Prior to that he was Group HR Director for Thomson Travel, Organisation and Management Development Director with Barclays Plc and Organisation and Management Development Director with Guinness Plc. In his earlier career he worked as a psychologist in the Department of Employment and with an international consultancy group. John is married with two adult sons and divides his time between Kent and London.

   Thomson Travel Group plc (Thomson Travel or the Group) today announced the appointment of John Dunn to the new role of Group Human Resources Director. Mr Dunn will join the Group on 14 February 2000 and report to the Group Chief Executive.
   
   John Dunn, aged 54, was most recently Group Organisation & Management Development Director at Barclays Plc, a position he held from November 1997 until 31 January 2000. During this time, he successfully introduced new organisation and succession planning processes and established an integrated organisation and management development function within the different businesses in the Group.
   
   Prior to joining Barclays, he was Organisation & Management Development Director at Guinness Plc (1992-1997), VP Human Resources at EMI Music Ltd (1990-1991) and Senior Consultant Psychologist at RHR Inc (1980-1990). His early career was spent in training and development roles at J Sainsbury Ltd and the Department of Employment.

   John Dunn graduated from Hull University in 1967 with a BSc in Psychology and from Aston University in 1968 with an MSc in Applied Psychology. He is married with two children.
