Mr. Dunn has been Group Senior Vice President Operations since joining the Company in January 1999. He is directly responsible for the daily operations of Cogentrix' power generating facilities. Mr. Dunn is in charge of the Company's Tradition of Excellence philosophy that employs superior operating policies to ensure safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvements. He is also directly responsible for all engineering and construction activities for the Company. In 1980, Mr. Dunn began working for Wheelabrator Technologies as a project manager and / or operations manager for various waste-to-energy facilities. In 1988 he became Vice President of Construction for Wheelabrator and in 1995 he was named Vice President of Operations for Wheelabrator.
