   Eric Dunlop is a Manager in the Nashville Headquarters of SBR and he is a Certified Personnel Consultant. He joined this division in January of 1993 and has developed an information services practice focusing on Sales and Executive level management in the Information Technology arena.

   Eric was initially recruited by the book sales division of the Southwestern Company in the spring of 1984, at the close of his sophomore year at Colorado State University. He was a top sales person seven of eight summers, a top student manager five years and was awarded Field Sales Manager of the Year for 1990. As a Field Sales Manager, he was responsible for all training in recruiting, management and sales.
   
   Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Eric later moved to Bethesda, Maryland and then on to Colorado. Before starting college, he worked as a professional musician for a regional band, then earned his degree in Marketing and Music at Colorado State University. He still enjoys performing and recording music in a local project in Nashville. Additional interests include golf and as much international travel as possible. That to date includes all continents but South America (next) and Antarctica (unlikely).

   Eric Dunlop has been selected as the Liberal Democrat candidate to contest the by-election in Whitchurch for a seat on Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council caused by the sudden death of Alison Wall.

   Eric was born and grew up in Whitchurch. He had a career in electrical engineering and facilities management for large companies. As a young man he also played guitar as a session musician for Pye Recording Studios. Since retiring in 2000, Eric has worked part-time as a surveyor and planning consultant.
   
   In 1986, after two years as Town Mayor of Whitchurch, Eric Dunlop became the second Liberal to be elected as Borough Councillor for Whitchurch. Eric served for eight years alongside Tommy Brooks and stood down from the Council in 1994.
