Darla Dunlop, Ph.D - Director of Development

Darla Dunlop has been the Director of Development at Switzer Center since February 2004.She manages special events such as the annual Red Balloon Golf Tournament, South Bay Woman of the Year Awards, grant proposal writing, marketing and publicity.She is a member of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.

Darla Dunlop, Ph.D. Dr. Dunlop is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice with more than 30 years experience in the mental health field.She has served on the Board of Directors of the LA County Psychological Association and the San Fernando Valley Psychological Association.She was the Director of Development at the Alcott Center and is currently the Director of Development at the Switzer Center, a special education school for children with learning and emotional problems.Dr. Dunlop is a member of the graduate psychology faculty at Mount St. Mary's College and teaches education programs for families of those challenged by mental illness, learning disabilities and developmental disorders.
