Laura Dunleavy joined the staff of the National Forest Foundation in February of 2001 as Conservation Programs Officer.She is currently manages the NFF's Matching Awards grant Program.Prior to joining the NFF , Ms. Dunleavy worked as a summer intern with Community Resources , a non-profit organization in Philadelphia , where she assisted in the monitoring and evaluation of Fairmount Park's implementation of a $26 million grant.She has also worked on community-based restoration projects at the Presidio , an urban park in San Francisco , and as a field assistant for The Nature Conservancy and Hubbard Brook Research Center.Ms. Dunleavy's interest in community-based resource management and restoration led her to pursue a master's degree in environmental management , at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies , which she completed in May 2000.She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Trinity College.
