Wade Dunlap is the new wildlife officer for Ashtabula County, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife.
Formerly a state wildlife officer at large, Dunlap will be responsible for enforcing wildlife laws on public lands as well as private lands along with fishing regulations and litter compliance on lakes and streams.
He will also assist other ODNR Division of Wildlife fish and wildlife personnel with conflict assistance, the cooperative hunting program, private lands habitat programs, surveys and research.

Before training to become a wildlife officer, Dunlap was a wildlife specialist at the Harrison County Soil and Water Conservation District.
"Wade has been a welcome addition to the ODNR Division of Wildlife since the day he came on board," Jeff Herrick District III manager, said. -
