Itasca, IL - Mr. Rupert and Mrs. Ruth Dunklau, Mrs. Ruth A. Henrichs, Rev. Dr. W. Theophil Janzow and Rev. Dr. Reuben T. and Mrs. Darlene M. Mr. Dunklau is President of the Rupert Dunklau Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Fremont Area Medical Center. He served as executive vice president and director at Valmont Industries in Valley, Nebraska, during the 23 years he was with the company. He is the former director at Fremont National Bank and Occidental/Nebraska Federal Savings Bank and has served on numerous boards and committees including Wheat Ridge Ministries, The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, the LCMS Foundation and Concordia Publishing House. He is a current member of the Board of Directors at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, and the Board of Trustees for the Lutheran Hour Ministries Foundation in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Midland Lutheran College Foundation in Fremont, Nebraska.
Mr. Dunklau has received various awards, including a Doctor of Humane Letters Degree from Concordia College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Doctor of Laws Degree from Midland Lutheran College.
Ruth Dunklau enjoyed a career in retail management for 25 years. During that time she served as store director at both Joseph Magnin and Mervyn's. Rupert and Ruth are both involved in many church and community organizations.
