Grant E. Dunham, Research Manager, received an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1991 and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1985, both from the University of North Dakota.Prior to his current position, Mr. Dunham worked at the EERC as a Research Specialist in Energy Systems, where he was involved in the Catalytic Fabric Filtration for Simultaneous NOx and Particulate Control project and in Combustion Systems, focusing on the mathematical modeling of the formation of N2O in fluidized-bed combustion of coal.He also worked on modeling the fluid flow regimes of fluidized beds.Prior to the EERC, Mr. Dunham was an Energy Conservation Engineer at the Naval Air Engineering Center, Lakehurst, New Jersey, where he was responsible for development and management of energy conservation projects as well as maintaining energy consumption data.Mr. Dunham's principal areas of interest and expertise include methods of simultaneous NOx particulate and mercury control and methods of particulate sampling.He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi and has coauthored numerous publications. -
