Reed Dungan

Reed Dungan joined Schoedinger in 2001.He holds a B.S. in Education.Growing up in Defiance County in NW Ohio, he graduated from Ayersville High School.

Reed's wife is a former Director of Talented and Gifted in Hilliard Schools and is currently Program Director for the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio in Lancaster.They reside in Hocking Co., OH.

As a licensed funeral director, Reed says, "My specialization with Schoedinger is working with families before funerals (advance planning) and after funerals (Family Care), assisting the family of the deceased in preparation of finalizing the estate.It is one of the job's great joys to be able to assist families at this difficult time as they struggle to get through a time with which they are usually unfamiliar.In prearranging, I answer the many questions (usually in the family home or in the Chapel) about financing and planning the funeral whether it is to be financed over time, paid with an insurance policy or a Medicaid "spend down" for a relative.I enjoy explaining the many options available whether the funeral is to be a traditional funeral or a cremation and the benefits of making arrangements ahead of need.

Reed and his wife travel extensively and are active supporters of the arts both in Columbus and Lancaster.
