Titus D. Duncan, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Titus D. Duncan is a 1978 graduate of University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Georgia Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Duncan has practiced general surgery since 1983 and is affiliated with Atlanta Medical Center, Emory Crawford Long Hospital and Piedmont Hospital. He is a board certified surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Duncan is the Director of Minimally Invasive & Bariatric Surgery at Atlanta Medical Center. He is assistant clinical professor of surgery at the Medical College of Georgia, Emory School of Medicine and Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Surgery Morehouse School of Medicine. He is Director of the Minimally Invasive Fellowship Program and attending faculty at Atlanta Medical Center.
A diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a member of numerous professional organizations, Dr. Duncan holds memberships in the American College of Surgeons, American Society for Bariatric Surgeons, South East Surgical Society, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons (SLS). Dr. Titus D. Duncan, M.D. A highly-respected international surgeon, Dr. Duncan is director of minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the Atlanta Medical Center and Morehouse School of Medicine and a former chairman of the board of the Atlanta Medical Association. He performs laparoscopic surgery, as well as gastric bypass surgery for severe obesity, and has performed successful surgeries in the United States, Russia, Austria, and South Africa shortly after the fall of apartheid.
