Ms. Duncan spent three years at the U.S. Department of Education (Department) before joining Chartwell.Her first two years at the Department were spent as a Presidential Management Fellow researching the implementation of education policies, and working for the Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) on performance measures and accreditation issues.Before leaving the Department, Ms. Duncan worked to transition OPE's grant applications to the new federal electronic application portal.Prior to her work at the Department, Ms. Duncan worked for the National Academies and the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Education and the Workforce.Ms. Duncan also spent time working as a graduate fellow for the Connecticut General Assembly's Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee.She earned her Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy from the University of Connecticut, and her B.A. in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross.
