    Aaron Duke

President of DukeGrafix and the first graduate of the Volunteers of America Massachusetts Rebound Program

Aaron Duke’s stay at Rebound was precipitated by stays in two psychiatric hospitals, repeated failure in school, chronic drug abuse, and a suicide attempt that resulted in a three day coma. His family life was in ruins and his parents didn't know where else to turn for help. The life he was living was rapidly moving towards prison or death.

According to Aaron, “The staff at Rebound helped to slow me down long enough to look into the causes of my behavior and poor decision making. I was given the tools to help me begin a new life free of drugs and alcohol and filled with hope for the future.†He developed a positive and respectful attitude that has stayed with him through all the challenges he has faced.

“I am proud that I now have twenty years of sobriety. I have a beautiful family, and have been the president of my own company for ten years. I am grateful for the dedicated people at Rebound for giving me the tools and support I needed to turn my life around and make it as wonderful as it is today.†says Aaron.

The Volunteers of America Rebound Adolescent and Family Treatment Center has changed over the past 20 years, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the degree of impact it’s had on many of the residents and graduates of the program. Aaron Duke is just one example.
