  StarCite Inc., a Philadelphia-based provider of Web-based solutions for corporate meeting and event planners, has announced Gregory J. Dukat as its new chief excutive officer, effective July 15, 2008.
  
  A technology industry veteran, Dukat joins StarCite from Atlanta-based Ventyx Inc., a provider of service delivery management solutions for energy, utility and other asset-intensive companies where he was president and CEO.Previously Indus International, the company was sold in 2007 for $250 million under Dukat's leadership.
  
  "Greg is a proven leader who has demonstrated the vision, skills and passion to build businesses and accelerate growth," StarCite Board Member Doug Alexander, managing director at Internet Capital Growth, said in a statement.
