"We are working to find creative solutions to this year's cyclic shortfalls," said Acting Superintendent Stephanie Dubois, in a prepared statement.

Dubois said the 10 percent increase translates to more seasonal employees visitors will see out in the park.
While you may see more rangers this summer, however, you may also notice less maintenance.
The budget will allow the park to begin a special watchable wildlife program in Many Glacier to help visitors understand wildlife's role in the ecosystem, Dubois said.
Protection rangers - the ones visitors may see the most often - will get their tours of duty extended, or the park may hire more protection rangers, she added.
"Our education program will be permanent, which will foster park stewardship among youth," Dubois said.
