Lewis's biography
Lewis Doyle was appointed Chief Information Officer in 2003 and Managing Director of Shared Services in 2006.
He is responsible for the business units that provide services across QinetiQ - IT, Estates, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, and Group Marketing Services.
Lewis joined QinetiQ in 2003 and has modernised QinetiQ's operations with new services and enhanced capabilities, and has led significant change in the migration from public sector to public limited company.
This has included the rationalisation of the property portfolio along with significant benefits from outsourcing and the migration of services offshore.
Prior to joining QinetiQ, Lewis worked across a number of industrial sectors including financial services, public sector, defence and support services, with companies including Legal and General, Comax Secure Business Services and the Inland Revenue.
During his career he has held positions in sales, marketing, customer services, finance and IT.
Lewis qualified as an accountant and studied at the Anglia Ruskin University.
