Cheri was born and raised in Fairfield, Illinois.For as far back as she can remember, attending church and participating in church activities were a part of her life growing up.Cheri says that one of the greatest gifts God has given her has been the passion she feels for music.She states part of that gift is the ability to feel, absorb and be moved by the music, and not to just hear it.She began taking piano lessons at the age of ten and continued for seven years, concentrating on Gospel and Classical study.Cheri says she was very blessed to have church leaders that allowed her to play piano and organ, as well as sing during church services at such an early age.

"A lot of people took a sincere interest in me growing up.They allowed me to sing with the adult choir, teaching me to hear and sing harmony, and they were always encouraging my participation in worship services.Those folks will never know what an impact they made on my life, and how very grateful I am to them for sharing their love for the Lord, their time, and their talents with me."

Cheri rededicated her commitment to the Lord in January of 1998.She states that it has been an amazing eight years.In addition to her work at My Father's House Ministries, Cheri has been the church pianist at the Raeford Evangelical Methodist Church, where she and Terry both attended.She has been the Choir Director there for the past six years.Since moving to South Carolina, Terry and Cheri have been attending Faith Wesleyan Church.Cheri has been blessed to be asked to assist with playing piano there and both she and Terry have been assisting with the youth program.

Cheri is a registered nurse, holding a bachelor's degree in nursing and is currently the Hospice Administrator for Covenant Hospice.Covenant Hospice is a new department of Healthkeeperz, Inc. based out of Pembroke, NC.Hospice has been a passion of Cheri's for a very long time and again feels very blessed that God has allowed this dream to come true.
