Jean Borden Donovan , 86 , formerly of Natick
Jean Borden Donovan , 86 , formerly of Natick , died Friday , Oct. 12 , 2001 , at the Cranberry Point Nursing Home in Harwich
She was the wife of Robert P. Donovan , who died in 1979.
Born in Dighton , daughter of the late George and Mary Borden , she lived in Natick for more than 70 years.She attended Natick schools and graduated from Natick High School , Class of 1933.A graduate of the former Leonard Morse Hospital School of Nursing , Class of 1935 , she was a registered nurse at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick for more than 20 years , retiring in 1980.She was an avid sports fan and a longtime member of St. Patrick's parish.
She leaves one son , William C. Donovan of Natick ; one daughter , Katherine B. Johnson of South Dennis ; one brother , Richard Borden of Framingham ; seven grandchildren ; 14 great-grandchildren ; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Oct. 16 at St. Patrick's Church.
Burial followed at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
