   Jane Donovan is an Assistant Director with the NI2 Center for Infrastructure Expertise. Ms. Donovan's extensive background in project management, operational best practices and assessments includes 17+ years experience in management consulting, diverse industries and financial analysis. She has led Operational Audits, Best Practice Reviews, Risk Assessments and worked on Process Re-engineering teams throughout the United States and around the world.
   
   Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Donovan was a Senior Project Manager with Control Solutions International performing operational assessments across numerous industries including utilities, transportation, technology, pharmaceuticals, public and not-for-profit organizations. Control Solutions is an innovative consulting company with global operations. They specialize in Process Improvement, Best Practice / Benchmarking, Reengineering and Risk and Control assessments. While at Control Solutions, Ms. Donovan led cross-functional teams to plan, execute, facilitate solutions and report on projects that included Facilities Management, Performance Metrics and Best Practices in purchasing, contract and asset management. Through the application of methods in root cause analysis, data mining and assessment, Ms. Donovan identified operational weaknesses and developed corrective actions to resolve issues.
   
   Ms. Donovan has worked with entrepreneurial firms undergoing rapid growth and continuous process change and conversely, mature multi-national organizations requiring continuous improvement. Before joining Control Solutions, Ms. Donovan participated in several large industry projects to relocate operations and close facilities deemed "excess."
   
   Ms. Donovan's career includes project positions with Ernst & Young and KPMG where she managed audit projects. While at KPMG, Ms. Donovan worked with the consulting group specializing in companies undergoing major transitions such as restructuring and divesting. The focus of the group was to provide transition as well as long-term process recommendations to meet the changing needs of the organizations reviewed. Ms. Donovan also worked for Siemens Energy & Automation, a large division within a multi-national organization that manufactures electrical apparatus. During her tenure at Siemens, Ms. Donovan was involved with several organizational realignments and systems implementations.
   
   Ms. Donovan earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and is a Certified Public Accountant.
