  Nancy Donoval is a storyteller, teacher and coach.She was a featured teller at the 2004 National Storytelling Festival and is in her 18th year as a professional storyteller.She was a founder and executive director of the Wild Onion Storytelling Festival in Chicago . Nancy came to storytelling from a background in the theater and holds an MFA in directing from Northwestern University . Even in her theater life before discovering storytelling, Nancy was drawn to coaching story, specializing in working with playwrights on the development of new plays.She has taught university level courses in storytelling since 1995, first at Northwestern and currently at Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis/St.Paul.
  
  As a coach and workshop leader Nancy has worked with storytellers as well as business professionals, advertising executives and lawyers.A five-time presenter at the National Storytelling Conference, Nancy guest edited the July/August 2004 issue of Storytelling Magazine on the topic of "Private Life on the Public Stage: Autobiography in Performance."She works as a private coach and leads weekend coaching intensives around the country.
