Mr. Bill Donohoe Jr.Junior Varsity Head Coach
Bill Donohoe, who currently serves as the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity Basketball team at La Salle College High School, is a third generation graduate from La Salle.During his time as a student at La Salle, Donohoe played four years of both football and baseball.In addition to these sports, he also played basketball for two years and managed the basketball team for another two years under legendary coach Marty Jackson.Coach Donohoe was also in the band at La Salle, playing the sax, clarinet and flute (played in the all-catholic band senior year).
After graduating from La Salle, Coach Donohoe went to Albright College where he was on the junior varsity basketball team for a year and the baseball team for two years.Donohoe graduated from Albright College with a B.A. in History, received his Masters in Education in May 2005 from La Salle University and will receive his Masters in History in August 2008 also from La Salle University.
Since joining the faculty at LaSalle eight years ago, Donohoe has taught freshman and sophomore history and currently teaches AP World History.He has also served as a basketball coach, football coach, and baseball coach.Coach Donohoe is currently in his fourth year as the Junior Varsity Head Coach (54-25 overall record as of 2-2-08).
Coach Donohoe and his wife Ellen reside in Willow Grove with their sixteen month old daughter Maureen.
