Bill is retired from General Motors, where he spent 28 years with the Pontiac Motor Division and six years with the Cadillac Motor Car Division.Bill had many different field sales assignments including counseling with auto dealers.He also served as Pontiac's National Dealer Business Management Manager and National Director of Car Distribution.At Cadillac he was National Director of Car Distribution, Assistant to the National Sales Manager, and then the Regional Sales and Service Manager for the Mid-West.

Bill also retired as a Vice President of JM Family Enterprises, Inc., one of the twenty largest privately owned companies in the U.S.The company has many subsidiaries including a Toyota distributorship for five southeastern states, which is the largest one in the world.Among other assignments with this company, he was active in overseeing a subsidiary that distributed General Motors parts and motor vehicles in France.

After receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from General Motors Institute, now Kettering University, Bill fulfilled his military obligation by serving as a Naval Officer and Aviator.After returning to GM he received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Detroit.
