Dr Chrilly Donninger is the main programmer and Dr Ulf Lorenz the parallel computing expert, while Christopher Lutz and Talib Mousa are the chess consultants for the program.

Dr. Chrilly Donninger is the main programmer for Hydra.Chrilly has a Phd. in Mathematical Statistics and has been working for Siemens Europe and the European Space Agency.

Chrilly is doing the chess programming for the last 15 years and considers as one of the best FPGA programmers in the world.

It is developed by no less than by Dr.Chrilly Donninger so don't be surprised to find inside the "DemSchweinehund" a tactical monster! The system requirements are quit high to load the 80 MB videos from the CD you need at least a Pentium with a speed of at least 233 Mhz and 131 MB hard disk space if you decide to copy the 80 MB videos on it and of course a sound card. Unfortunately the openings book from the "Dog" are different {Fbk files} than the common Fritz ones {Ctg} so we have to do with out the famous powerbooks and lovely Chessbase openings CD's! With the option : "Stil" it is possible to do some special settings for example the user can choose between different playing styles as classic hypermodern gambit and even wild is possible!
