  Executive Director, Andrew Donnery believes that a consistent in-service development program for coaches is one of the initiatives he would like to introduce. The coaches can only benefit from an increased awareness of best practice in youth programs in Europe.

  "My role will help decrease the responsibilities on our board members and other volunteers as it relates to the day to day operations of the club", said Donnery. "I am very excited about the possibilities and opportunities we have at FC Fremont".
  
  Andrews' responsibilities as Executive Director will be to oversee the day-to-day business of the club, including budgeting, planning and personnel management. He will also participate in fundraising activities and be a primary contact between the Club and other local, state and national soccer clubs and organizations. FC Fremont Director of Coaching, Ricky Clarke, will report to Andrew.

  Andrew Donnery - Executive Director Andrew has had extensive soccer experience, as a player and directing coaching activities both in England and the United States. Mr. Donnery has worked with several U.S. organizations including: the Cape Fear Soccer Association; the Wilmington Hammerheads Professional Team; and Coastal Carolina Soccer Camps. He has also acted as a Coach Educator and Instructor for the United States Soccer Federation and worked with the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association as a member of their Olympic Development Staff. He has served as a committee member with the NCYSA Academy Committee and the NCYSA Coach Educators Committee. He holds the following coaching qualifications UEFA "A" License, UEFA International Coaching License, UEFA 12-16 Youth License, UEFA 17-21 Youth License, the USSF National Youth License and the NSCAA Premier License. He also authored a book called "Let the Kids Play". The book was designed to put the fun back in the game with a collection of enjoyable, stimulating and developmentally appropriate exercises for young players. Over the years Andrew has placed players into Division 1 College Programs, State ODP, Region ODP and the U.S National Team. Andrew has recently been added to the California North ODP staff and will shortly join the NSCAA Coach Education staff.

  Andrew Donnery is the academy director and oversees all player development programs for this key stage.Players practice two times a week and further developmental opportunities are provided on a regular basis through programs such as FC Fremont Play Days.Other opportunities include Open Training and individuals or teams being selected to train with an older team on occasion.
