Paul Donnelly chosen to represent Sinn Féin

SINN FÉIN in Dublin West have selected local man Paul Donnelly to take over as the party's representative for the area on Fingal County Council.Mr. Donnelly was unanimously backed by local party members at a selection convention that was chaired by Dublin MEP and Sinn Féin Chairperson Mary Lou McDonald last Thursday evening, 10th January in Huntstown Community Centre.The party's ruling Ard Chomhairle also approved the selection at their monthly meeting held in Dublin on Saturday 12th January.Mr. Donnelly will now seek co-option to Fingal County Council at their monthly meeting on Monday 11th February.Read full article

Paul Donnelly - Instructor (Fire Training)

Paul was the Safety & Security Manager at Gillette and was one of four Hydrocarbon (gas) Safety Auditors for the Gillette Aerosol facilities in the Western Hemisphere.Paul belonged to the City of St-Laurent, Quebec volunteer Disaster Rescue Group (part of the Fire Service) and retired after 25 years service with them in 1995 as Chief of Operations, Disaster Rescue.Presently, Paul instructs an Industrial Fire Brigade course at North Country International Fire School, in the State of Vermont.He was on their Board of Directors for 15 years and spent 5 years as the School Director.Paul also works for the Ontario Industrial Magazine where he is the Editor for the Safety and Security column.

Donnelly joins BBH following 15 years with Barings (Ireland) Limited, where he served as managing director for more than nine years.While at Barings, Donnelly oversaw marketing and development of the company's products and services and also assumed responsibility for compliance with the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland.Prior to Barings, Donnelly spent more than 10 years with the Bank of Ireland Group.
