Having won the first stage, the eventual winner was headed by Eugene Donnelly over the next two before regaining the lead on the fourth.Nesbitt built his advantage to almost two minutes over Toyota Corolla driver Donnelly by the finish with Derrick McGarrity third.

Second placed driver Eugene Donnelly had a slight overshoot but is still happy with the way things are.

Over the next two stages McGarrity set fastest on stage nine and Donnelly took 7 seconds back on stage 10.Eugene commented "that is the best stage for us so far, having made the right tyre choice".

The next loop of three stages saw the two leading crews swop times yet again, Eugene took 3 seconds on stage 11, but Derek took 2 back on stage 12 and 13.
