Virginia joined the church staff in 1981 after graduating from Evangel University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education.In 1983, she became an instructor at Trinity Bible College where she taught Music courses until 1986.During that time Virginia completed her Masters of Music at the University of Minnesota.She returned to Minot and taught Band and Choir at Bishop Ryan HS from 1987-91, and Elementary Music at Our Redeemers Christian School from 1991-92.She worked as music director here at the First Assembly of God from fall 1989-90, and joined the staff again in 1992.Virginia directed the first Singing Christmas Tree and Easter Pageant, and has a passion for using the arts to tell the story of Jesus in a meaningful and inviting manner.As Director of Music Ministries she directs the choir and oversees the entire music program.She works to involve and equip people of all ages, talents, and ability levels in: worship of God through music, encouragement of the family of God through meaningful words, and evangelism through music and drama events.

Virginia continues to teach private piano students as she has for over 25 years.She enjoys spending time with her husband, Dale, and son, Jordan.
