Ted Dohmen has an extensive history studying the Gulf of Mexico.He started by assessing the Deepwater on a basin scale with Shell Oil's Global Geology Group in the late 1970's and ended up mapping the same terrain for exploration targets for Burlington Resources 20 years later.Ted worked in a special studies group doing computer applications of geology and geophysics in support of worldwide exploration for Louisiana Land and Exploration in New Orleans for nine years before joining their offshore exploration staff in Houston about the time workstations became available.He continues his work with their successor company, Burlington Resources, where he is now a member of their Geophysical Technology Group, overseeing the efficient application of technology in his company.
