    Returning from the National Student Diversity Leadership Conference, Debra Dixon had a plan.She saw the potential for greater collaboration among student groups and, joining forces with three friends, founded Kaleidoscope, a multi-cultural diversity clubs which brings together representatives from her school's cultural, humanitarian, and social justice organizations.Working through Kaleidoscope, Debra worked to bring the "Silent Movement" to Seven Hills, an activity where students were able to examine their perspectives and opinions on diversity issues.

    In addition to her role in Kaleidoscope, Debra participated in the African-American Awareness club, serving as events coordinator and president.She also co-founded and serves as president of her school's dance team.

    Debra has also been extensively involved in volunteering for her local American Red Cross.Through the Red Cross's Leadership Development Center, Debra participated first as a camper, then as a camp counselor in this summer leadership program for area youth.As a Red Cross Volunteer, Debra has participated in several community activities including smoke detector checks and health and safety training.
