"No one reported actually seeing a weapon," Assistant Police Chief Mike Dinn said."He just indicated that he had a weapon of some sort in his jacket pocket."
Dinn said authorities were alerted about 3:45 p.m. that something might be wrong at Burger King when a customer attempted to use the drive-up services.
"Apparently they had tried to order some food and didn't receive a response from inside," Dinn said."They called and said that something was wrong."
According to Dinn, the suspect forced all Burger King employees except McGee into the cooler of the restaurant where frozen goods are kept and forced McGee to leave with him.

"No one recognized the man, so we didn't thik he was local," Dinn said."He could have just been someone off the interstate."
