Dr. John F. Dilley,Missile Defense Senior Market Manager

BattelleAs the Missile Defense Senior Market Manager for Battelle, Dr. Dilley is responsible for developing new areas of work for Battelle in missile defense and expanding the current capabilities.Dr. Dilley has 37 years experience in aerospace engineering and related fields, including systems engineering, technology development and marketing, missile and space systems, heat transfer, fluid flow, and propulsion.Dr. Dilley holds a B.S. and a M. S. in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University and earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.He has been leading teams of System Engineers on missile defense projects for 12 years, providing close customer support in areas of program integration, test and evaluation planning, and system engineering support.A key accomplishment of his group was the development of a unique, state-of-the-art, test tool which utilizes a coast-to-coast wide area network to drive tactical hardware and software in the loop in virtual battle situations.Dr. Dilley is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a member of Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Gamma Tau Honoraries.
