    Dr. Phillip Dillard, the author of the article, Echoes from the GCB Convention, 2006, is president of the newly reorganized Rome/Floyd County Chapter.Although Dr. Dillard served on the first GCB scholarship committee and helped to write the guidelines that we are still presently using, this was his first time to attend a GCB state convention.After receiving a doctorate degree from the University of Georgia, Phillip Dillard was employed by Floyd College in Rome where he taught English literature for over 30 years.
