Diehl was called to be the full-time pastor of the church on Aug. 15, after serving as the interim pastor for nearly two years.

Diehl is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and has pastored churches in Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

A native of Bloomsburg, he is married to Carolyn (Kinney) Diehl, who is the director of Berwick Hospital Center home health and hospice department.
