But Dennis Diaz , a Los Angeles lawyer representing Community Hospital , said the complaint failed to provide any specific information to back up its allegations.

He also said changes in the corporate makeup of the health care organization were done legally , publicly and were voted on by appropriate board members.

For example , the hospital's parent , Community Health Systems of San Bernardino , Inc. , was created by the hospital's board and corporate members , by law and by the hospital's articles of incorporation , and it was fully disclosed to the public , Diaz said.

No assets have been moved from the hospital , he said.

A hearing to address the complaint's allegations of misconduct by hospital operators was canceled Friday after U. S. District Judge Dickran Tevrizian recused himself because a building he owns is leased by a law firm that represents Catholic Healthcare West.
