HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) recently approved the appointment of Lehigh County resident Delia Rivera Diaz as a member of its Consumer Advisory Council.She was nominated by Senator Lisa Boscola.

Diaz is the Latino Affairs Coordinator for Lehigh and Monroe counties.She comes to the council with many years of experience as a consumer advocate serving the Latino community through television programs and through her work at the local congressional office.Delia currently serves on the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute 2001 Conference Committee, PA Statewide Latino Coalition, the PA Alliance for Building Communities, and the Bethlehem Community Development Corporation.
