  He is also an avid performer, composer, songwriter and producer.His musical talent shines in his latest project, Arias and Serenades.
  
  This is the tenor's third album and his best effort yet, he said.

  "The CD is a followup to the Arias CD I released in 2000, which was a good CD, but my vocal ability has grown so much and this one really represents where I am vocally today," he explained.

  The CD launch concert featuring Charles Di Raimondo and friends runs Sept. 16 at 3 p.m. at Rose Theatre, 1 Theatre Lane.

  Charles Di Raimondo is a classically trained singer/songwriter/pianist, whose talent and versatility is evident as he sings in an array of genres: from opera to pop, from jazz to rock.His busy singing career has brought him to many venues in Toronto and its surrounding areas through concerts and festivals including the CHIN Song Festival, the Ferragosto Festival, the Children's Starlight Foundation gala and the CIBC Annual Fundraising Ball.Charles has performed solo roles in Rigoletto and La Traviata under the direction of Mr. Dwight Bennett for the Opera Mississauga Company and is also one third of the singing group The Canadian Three Tenors.

  As an established composer, lyricist and arranger, Charles was a staff composer for Monogram Records Montreal.He continues to write, record and produce music of all styles in his digital recording studio CD PRODUCTIONS.Most recently, Charles has written and produced songs of different styles for other Canadian artists including: "I'll Be Loving You" for France Joli's debut album, and the dance hit "I'm So High On You" for Donna Robbins.

  Charles Di Raimondo was born in Brooklyn, N.Y, U.S.A., and is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States of America.With a Bachelor of Arts from York University, Charles specialized in jazz and classical piano, arrangement and composition.He later pursued a Bachelor of Education from Brock University that has enabled him to share his love of music as a music educator for the Peel Board of Education and the Merriam School of Music.Charles is a member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), and a member of the Toronto Musicians' Association (Local 149).
  
  Charles and his wife, Pamela, currently live in Brampton with their two young sons, Adrian and Julian.When he is not in the studio, or taking his sons to Tae Kwon Do practices, Charles can be found playing hockey and soccer, and cooking up his special Linguini a la Vongole in the kitchen.

  Charles is a multi dimensional and versatile artist.His busy music career has brought him to many venues in Canada, USA, and Italy.A graduate of both York and Brock Universities, Charles has performed solo roles in Rigoletto, Carmen, and La Traviata with the Opera Mississauga Company.Charles has recently performed the lead tenor role of Turriddu in the opera Cavalleria Rusticana for Opera Lirica Italiana and is also one third of the popular singing group "Canada's Three Tenors".He has performed in numerous concerts and recitals and has trained with several great voice teachers including the world renowned Tenor Maestro, the late, Mr. Goffredo Ricci.
  
  As an establish composer, lyricist and arranger, Charles was a staff composer for Monogram Records in Montreal, Quebec, and continues to produce recordings, movie soundtracks, and music for Television and Radio of all musical styles in his recording studio, "CD PRODUCTIONS".He has recently released his third CD entitled "Arias and Serenades", (a follow up to his very first CD Release in the year 2000 entitled "The Arias") "Arias and Serenades" is a new collection of Classical vocal repertoire accompanied by Jose Hernandez on piano.This New CD was launched with an exciting CD release concert at the Rose Theatre in Brampton on September 16th, 2007.

  Charles has performed throughout Toronto's finest nightclubs and jazz clubs.His original jazz and R&B compositions have been aired on MUCH MUSIC, CITY-TV and CHCH-TV and will be released on CD.Charles has also appeared in numerous venues including the Kingswood Theatre in Toronto for the annual CHIN Song Festival, the Pop to Opera shows in Hamilton, Ontario, the Golden Curl Image Awards, the Robert Michaels Ensemble (Warner Bros. Records) and the Frank Baggetta and Isaac Oziel Orchestras.As a former staff composer for Monogram Records, Charles has established himself as one of the foremost singers/arrangers/composers in the city.
