    JOHNSTOWN - The Rev. Joseph F. DiMaggio, former pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Johnstown, entered into eternal rest on his 75th birthday on Friday, Jan 9, 2004.

    He was born Jan 9, 1929, in Frankfort, the son of the late Lawrence and Josephine Simonette DiMaggio.

    Graduating from Frankfort High School in 1946, he entered St. Andrews Seminary, Rochester, in September of 1946 and graduated in 1949.

    He entered Christ the King Seminary at St. Bonaventure University in Olean, where he graduated in 1951 with a bachelor's degree in theology and education.
