Bèr Deuss

On 1 April 2002, The Past President of IAMIC, Bér Deuss left his position as Managing Director of Muziekgroep Nederland (MGN).We thanked him at the latest Annual meeting for all he has done for IAMIC and now we have to thank him once again since he is leav­ ing our association.

At the final business session, Richard Kessler, Director of the American Music Center, was re-elected as ordinary board member and Bèr Deuss, former Director of MuziekGroep Nederland was appointed an honorary member of IAMIC.Bèr Deuss will not only keep contact with IAMIC through his honorary membership but hopefully also through his new position at Duth Albersen Verhuur, an agency handling sub-publishing, orchestra rental material and rights management in the Benelux countries on behalf of serious music publishers which also include several Music Information Centers.
