Anthony Dennant

Anthony's early musical training was as a violinist, but he has been conducting for over 15 years.He was principal conductor of the Gli Amici Della Musica for five years, and attended The Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a post graduate conductor in 1992-3.He was invited to participate in a conducting master class in the Czech Republic in 1993, and has conducted Rachmaninov symphonies for BBC Radio 3.His most recent conducting work has been with a chamber orchestra formed from members of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.Since 1996, Anthony has channelled most of his energy into the Brook Ensemble, as a player, administrator and promoter.
