Career Background: Dr. Dehler started her dental career working with the Indian Health Service in Montana and Arizona before moving to North Carolina to work with special needs dental patients.
She joined the Cabarrus Health Alliance in 2005 and became the Dental Director in 2006.
Education: Dr. Dehler received a B.S degree in Nutrition from Georgia Southern College, an M.S. in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and completed her D.D.S. at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
She completed a 2-year residency in hospital dentistry and oral medicine at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
She is currently working on her M.P.H. through the School of Public Health at Chapel Hill.
Professional and Civic Activities: Dr. Dehler is active in the Southern Piedmont Partnership for Public Health working on innovative strategies to increase service capacity of public health dentistry practice in North Carolina.
She is also active on the Healthy Cabarrus Dental Task Force.
