    Gordon Dehler, PhD

    Gordon Dehler, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Organizational Sciences Program in the Columbian College of Arts & Sciences, The George Washington University. With 25 years of teaching experience at the university level in MBA, masters and undergraduate business programs, his current teaching endeavors include courses in leadership, managing, organization change, and action research. His research interests focus on three domains: management education and learning, organization transformation in the context of the 'new workplace,' and new product development.

    Dr. Dehler has published widely in leading academic outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, Management Learning, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, and Research-Technology Management, in addition to several chapters in edited books.

    Dr. Dehler has presented his scholarship and pedagogical innovations at more than 30 conferences, including a recent conference on Best Practices of Project Management and Finance in Pharmaceutical/Biotech R&D sponsored by the Drug Information Association [accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education]. He currently serves as associate editor of the international journal Management Learning. Consulting clients include Procter & Gamble and American Cyanamid. Dr. Dehler received his Ph.D. in organization theory from the University of Cincinnati, and holds Masters degrees from the University of Cincinnati and Ohio State University.
