Tom Decker: I started the fire service in 1973 as a junior firefighter in Cherry Hill at the age of 16. Proudly serving as a volunteer firefighter for the next ten years holding positions including Firefighter, Captain, Asst. Engineer, Fire Inspector, and Asst Chief. A Degree of B.S. in Environmental was obtained from Stockton State College in 1981.

Tom Decker has 23 years with the Cherry Hill (NJ) Fire Department where he serves as a Lieutenant on Ladder Company 44. Tom has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science. Lt. Decker is an instructor with the Camden County Fire Academy and is a H.O.T. Instructor with FDIC and FDIC East. Tom is a NJ Level 1 certified fire instructor.
