Irene T. Debold , 81 of Hokah , died Monday , March 12 , 2001 at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born December 30 , 1919 in Nodine to Bertus and Marie ( Hafner ) Thicke. Irene graduated from St. Peter's High School in Hokah. She married Lloyd J. Debold at St. Peter's Catholic Church on June 25 , 1940. She was a member of the parish Altar Society and choir. Irene was a charter member of the Happy Twirlers , a member of the La Crosse Square Dance Club and the Coulee Region Promenaders , La Crosse. She is survived by two daughters , Jo Ann ( Ivan ) Bissen of Sturgeon Bay , WI and Carol Jean Debold of Hokah ; four grandchildren ; six great-grandchildren ; and a sister , Mary Ann Nunemacher of Hokah. She was preceded in death by her husband , Lloyd , on Sept. 23 , 1979. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 : 30 am on Friday , March 16 , 2001 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hokah. The Rev. Paul J. Breza will officiate. Burial will be in Mt.
