   Alex recently served as vice president of government relations for the Midwest ISO, the nation's first federally approved regional electricity grid operator.His responsibilities included representing the organization before the Administration, Congress, 15 midwestern states and the Canadian province of Manitoba.
   
   Alex has held positions in the Washington, DC, offices of Cinergy (now Duke) and Tenneco Inc.He represented the interests of these organizations before government officials in areas of energy, corporate structure, taxes, environment and international trade.
