   Assistant Coach Steve DeBlasi
   
   Steve DeBlasi begins his second season as pitching coach for the Babson nine. DeBlasi joined the Beavers from Suffolk University where he served as pitching coach for the perennial ECAC title contenders. During the summer DeBlasi serves as an assistant coach for the Orleans Cardinals in the Cape Cod Baseball League. He is a well-known instructor at various camps and clinics throughout New England, and is a teaching professional at Strike One in Danvers.
   
   A Brooklyn NY native, DeBlasi is a 1992 graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a BA in Psychology. He also holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. At Georgia, DeBlasi was a standout pitcher for the Bulldogs. The flame-throwing righthander helped pitch the Georgia nine to the 1990 NCAA championship.
   
   Coach DeBlasi resides in Boston with his wife Paige.
