    Vince is one of the original staff members of Words & Numbers.Vince is responsible for editing and writing test preparation workbooks and assessment items, editing teacher's editions, and managing projects.Among the projects he has managed are developments for a grade 6 teacher's edition and a grade 8 student's edition problem-solving workbook.He has also worked on a pre-calculus teacher's edition, algebra 2 teacher's edition, and DVD-based algebra and middle school mathematics lessons.

    Before joining Words & Numbers, Vince taught high school mathematics and computer science in Maryland for 32 years.He was also involved in writing mathematics and computer science curricula for Baltimore County Public Schools, as well as developing and teaching educational technology courses for the Johns Hopkins University in Maryland.He has lectured at local and national levels on the use of technology in education.After retiring from teaching, Vince became a curriculum developer, writing courses for use on the Internet.

    Vince received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a Master of Education degree in Mathematics Education from Loyola College in Maryland.He won a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant to study computer programming at Portland State College for one summer and an NSF grant to study mathematics at Stanford University for three summers.Vince has more than seventy credits beyond his Master's degree.
