FREDONIA - Stephen DeBerry, 32, Fredonia, died Monday, April 25, 2005, at his home.
He was born at Fredonia, the son of Kirk Rodney and Mina Susan Relph DeBerry. He grew up in Groton, Conn., and Vallejo, Calif., before moving back to Fredonia.
He graduated from Fredonia High School in 1990, qualifying for state wrestling as a senior. He attended Independence Community College and the University of Kansas, majoring in History.
He worked for the Wilson County Citizen as a photographer, computer technician and assistant press room operator. He was an expert computer technician and an unofficial advisor for the Reflector staff.
