Join the Canberra branch of the Australian Science Communicators as Michael Debenham of IP Australia explains how discoveries, and the intellectual property (IP) they contain, can be protected via such pathways as patents, trademarks and design rights.
Michael will outline the steps in preparing and filing your applications for registration, some pitfalls, and the role of IP Australia in it all.
If you have specific issues you'd like discussed, please let us know and we will endeavour to pass them on to Michael.
Please RSVP for catering purposes.
All are welcome. The event is free for ASC members, or $5 for non-members.
